In my 18 years experience with clients, all problems have some connection to past experiences – that’s where we concentrate first.
So let’s clear out your ‘rubbish’ and ‘tidy up’ your past.

 

Imagine a wardrobe with a long rail on which hangs all the clothes you’ve ever worn. They’re in order so the oldest is distant and the most recent is closest. This is how your mind organises your memories. Thinking about your future, which clothes would you keep and which ones would you want to throw away?

If those garments represented your feelings, you’d want to keep the good ones like happy, motivated, loved etc. and clear out the bad ones like angry, scared, sad, hurt and guilty wouldn’t you?

This is exactly what you can achieve with Emotional Clarity. You will be able to remember having felt bad but when you recall the memory, the feeling will be gone. Just like after clearing out your wardrobe, you can remember having had a certain garment but when you open the wardrobe, it’s gone.

Emotional Clarity™ is a ‘talk’ therapy so there’s no touching, no ‘medicines’.
I will guide you to make changes in the way you think so your problem and symptoms reduce or go completely.

Emotional Clarity™ is safe because I am guided by what you want, you make the changes, I just facilitate. It is also as ‘comfortable as possible because you will NOT be asked to re-live past unpleasant experiences, you will simply be asked to dip into them and even then not until you know exactly how to detach from them.

Emotional Clarity™ is very thorough, so as with the old clothes, when getting rid of an unpleasant feeling from a past memory, you will clear it completely. That means after ‘clearing’ that feeling, it will be gone from all your past memories.

You will also be able to get rid of negative influences that you are not consciously aware of and therefore safely deal with traumatic and even repressed memories.

Some people may be content with feeling a bit better – coping with or managing their problem! I’ll be helping you to get to a point where your problem is completely gone – couldn’t do it if you tried.
That’s what 70 + % of my clients achieve.

 

How it works

In your mind you have thoughts, often associated with strong feelings,
these we call emotions. These determine your actions.
Repeated over time these actions become your habits.

Memories are also thoughts and when something triggers you to access a memory, it’s the strength of the emotion that drives your response. If it’s a negative emotion, that will drive an unhelpful action.

After the negative emotions are cleared from your memories and you learn fromyour experiences, you become free to choose your actions.
You will still be able to experience any of your emotions but only in appropriate situations and with intensity.

 

This means that you can then plan a happy, healthy and successful future, the way you want it – free from worries.

 

 

 

BEFORE YOU COME ask yourself;

What is my problem? What am I thinking, feeling or doing, that I want to change?
What do I want? How do I want to think, feel and act when my problem has gone?

IN THE FIRST SESSION I will explain what I do as we discuss the problem you want to work on. I will teach you how to detach from past memories then we will check relevant information from the past. I will explain how the problems are maintained by past influences then we will find out what we need to work on to resolve the cause.

The number of sessions required to do that will depend on you. Clients with one straightforward problem usually come for 2-3 sessions, most clients come for 5-10 sessions. The most common length of a session is one and a half hours.

AFTER SESSIONS you will be encouraged to;
Notice the changes, what’s the same, what’s better, what’s worse? (temporarily worse is not always bad) and mention that in the next session. Remember that after making significant shifts in your perceptions, you might feel a bit ‘strange’ until you get used to the change. This often takes a few days, sometimes longer.
